What is Cashback?
Cashback websites give you a percentage of anything that you spend, back as cash when you use their sites to carry out a variety of shopping. Each time a customer purchases products online through a retailer that the cashback site has recommended, the cashback site will then receive a referral fee, of which a percentage of this in turn is paid back to the customer as cashback.
Who Uses it?
Customer’s who are looking to receive a cash return on products that they need to purchase such as insurance, food, clothing etc.
Why is it useful to an organisation?
The cashback is often the tipping point to push the customer to making the purchase or purchase the product with you and not your competitors.
